United Allergy Services

Medical Practices & Clinics

United Allergy Services (UAS) improves patients’ quality of life by empowering primary care providers and others to provide safe, effective, and customized allergy treatment throughout the United States. We exist to advance the understanding of immunotherapy (IT) as the only known disease-modifying treatment for allergies. We bring effective and convenient allergy testing and immunotherapy to providers that treat the vast majority of patients with seasonal and perennial allergies. UAS Clinical Allergy Technicians/Specialists (CAT/CAS) work under the provider's direct supervision to test, analyze and perform dilutions for immunotherapy treatments. The CAT/CAS has the unique opportunity to truly make an impact on their patient's lives. Our CAT and CAS staff provide unparallelled patient care throughout their treatment to free them from their allergy symptoms. The provider educates patients on the therapy and results and then a customized treatment program is developed using a UAS proprietary protocol. UAS works with more than 2,450 practitioners across 20 states and has already helped more than 350,000 patients break free from the confines of their symptoms and experience life without allergies. Job description

Who we are:

United Allergy Services is the largest allergy care provider in the U.S. We partner with physicians nationwide to bring allergy testing and immunotherapy directly into local clinics — expanding access to millions of patients who would otherwise go without care. We've helped more than 300,000 patients overcome their allergies and earned thousands of 5-star patient reviews along the way. Recently acquired by an ambitious team with deep experience in allergy pharmacy services, telemedicine, and technology, we're growing fast — and we want people who want to grow with us.

About the Role:

United Allergy Services is seeking a customer-focused professional to support physician practices and help ensure an excellent experience for customers and patients. In this remote role, you will build lasting customer relationships, resolve account and service issues, coordinate with internal teams, and help customers follow processes and best practices that lead to successful outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop key relationships with existing customers through frequent inbound and outbound calls, emails, and ongoing support.
  • Build productive customer relationships that support long-term business needs and retention.
  • Respond promptly to customer issues, including tier-one clinical questions, order fulfillment, invoice inquiries, payment allocation, claims or denials, and general service requests.
  • Support timely invoice payments and collections across an assigned portfolio of accounts.
  • Lead and participate in customer conference calls to strengthen relationships, provide education, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Educate customers on process guidance and best practices to improve outcomes, retention, and account success.
  • Collaborate with teams across United Allergy Services to address customer concerns and see each issue through resolution.
  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a high school diploma with at least two years of experience in customer or patient support.

Healthcare experience: At least two years of experience in patient scheduling or billing in a high-volume healthcare office, clinical operations within an allergy center, or payer relations. Experience in two or more of these areas is strongly preferred.

Customer service skills: Experience managing and resolving issues in a high-touch customer service environment, both in person and by phone. Strong communication and presentation skills, sound problem-solving ability, and the capacity to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Experience meeting or exceeding quotas and performance metrics is preferred.

Technology skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce is required, along with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute.

Why Join United Allergy Services?

Join a growing organization that is expanding access to allergy care nationwide. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for physician partners and patients while building your career with an experienced, forward-looking team.
