Distribution Specialist 


We have an exciting new role available as a Distribution Specialist! As a Distribution Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and optimization of hotel rooms, rates, policies, taxes and inventory across all digital distribution channels. You will be the key liaison between hotel teams, central systems, and third-party platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and alignment with brand standards. This role supports strategic revenue initiatives and contributes directly to the guest booking experience across global markets.


What You’ll Be Doing:


Channel Management & Rate Integrity

  • Maintain and audit rates, availability, and inventory across OPERA, FS.com, SynXis, GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo/Galileo, Worldspan), OTAs, and wholesalers.
  • Ensure rate codes, negotiated rates, and packages are correctly linked and bookable across all channels.
  • Create and manage master company profiles and GDS rate access codes.

Policy Compliance

  • Verify and update guarantee/deposit/cancellation policies in OPERA and SynXis.

Website & Digital Distribution

  • Manage rate codes and content for FS.com include Packages, Taxes, Guarantee Rules, Web Messages, and Group Blocks.
  • Coordinate distribution of rate codes to the web booking engines.

Troubleshooting & Escalation

  • Serve as a point of contact for hotel and system inquiries related to distribution.
  • Collaborate with GDS Help Desks, Central Systems, and hotel teams to resolve technical issues and ensure channel parity.

New Hotel Launches

  • Assist with the distribution setup for new hotel openings, ensuring timely and accurate configuration across all booking platforms.
  • Follow critical path timelines and collaborate cross-functionally to meet launch deadlines.

What You Bring:


  • Previous Distribution experience with Opera, GDS Systems and OTA is an asset.
  • Post Secondary Diploma.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with digital content management systems and booking engines.
  • Knowledge of Four Seasons systems and standards preferred.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 CAD + additional rewards as part of the total compensation package.

This position is fully remote based in Ontario, Canada and your home will be your primary work location #LI-Remote.
