Job description

Life Without Limitations

We, at Embla Medical, develop innovative prosthetic and orthotic solutions that help people move more freely, regain independence and improve their everyday lives.

Our Chronic Solutions business brings together leading brands and international teams dedicated to advancing the prosthetics and orthotics industry. To strengthen how our commercial teams work across markets, we have created a new Commercial Excellence function.

We are now looking for a Director Global Sales Excellence to join this Commercial Excellence function to build the global sales processes and capabilities that will help our markets perform at their best.

This is a newly created role, not an existing global setup to maintain. You will take ownership of the Sales Excellence agenda and work closely with regional and country leaders to turn different market practices into practical global ways of working.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and lead a focused global Sales Excellence roadmap, prioritizing the areas where greater alignment will create the most value.
  • Partner with regional and country leaders to align different priorities, facilitate decisions and build commitment to shared processes.
  • Identify proven local practices and assess how they can be scaled across the wider organization.
  • Determine what should be globally mandatory, globally guided with local adaptation, or locally owned.
  • Lead the adoption of new ways of working across markets, using feedback and commercial insights to continuously improve them.
  • Define and implement practical approaches for CRM-supported sales processes, opportunity management, account segmentation, onboarding, training and capability monitoring.
  • Strengthen the use of CRM and commercial data to improve execution, monitor adoption and increase sales predictability.
  • Lay the foundation for a future Global Sales Excellence team as the capability develops.

Your profile

  • Proven experience leading sales processes, frameworks or implementations across multiple countries or regions.
  • Experience helping a decentralized organization move toward greater alignment and standardization.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Excellence and a practical understanding of CRM-supported sales processes and tools.
  • A genuinely global mindset, with the ability to balance the needs of major markets with the wider organization.
  • The ability to influence without formal authority and work credibly with senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Humble confidence: you listen and learn while remaining comfortable challenging established views and guiding difficult decisions.
  • An entrepreneurial and hands-on approach, with the judgment to prioritize the changes that will create the greatest value.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medtech, medical devices, life sciences or another complex international industry.
  • Previous experience in a sales role.
  • Experience with Salesforce.

You should be comfortable building structure in an organization where global sales processes are still developing and where progress depends on collaboration across markets.

The role will initially be an individual contributor position, with the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated team as the capability grows.

Copenhagen or Eindhoven are the preferred locations. Candidates based on the East Coast of the United States or from a remote location in Denmark, Germany or the Nederlands will also be considered.

Recruitment process

  • Initial video interview with Talent Acquisition
  • Interview with the hiring manager
