180 Recruitment Resourcer - Construction & Real Estate 

Confidential Opportunity | City of London | Hybrid 

Develop your recruitment career in a specialist construction market. 

Our client is an independent recruitment and executive search business specialising in construction, property and real estate. The business partners with developers, main contractors, specialist contractors, consultancies and investors to recruit professionals across the built environment. 

Its assignments span the UK and international markets, including the Middle East, Caribbean and North America, with work covering major developments, super-prime residential projects, luxury hospitality and construction opportunities. 

As the team grows, our client is seeking a 180 Recruitment Resourcer to join its London office and support the delivery of specialist construction recruitment assignments. This is a candidate-focused role rather than a full 360 business development position. 

The Opportunity 

You will join a close-knit team, working alongside experienced consultants and directly supporting live vacancies and established client accounts. Your focus will be on identifying, engaging and qualifying candidates, managing candidate relationships and helping deliver successful placements. 

Depending on the team’s requirements and your experience, the markets you support may include: 

• Main contracting and property development 

• Super-prime residential, interiors and fit-out 

• Quantity surveying, cost consultancy and project management 

• Building surveying and development management 

• Facades, building services, MEP and data centres 

• Senior management and executive appointments 

There is scope to support UK searches, international assignments or a combination of both. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Source and engage construction and built-environment candidates through headhunting, referrals, market mapping and specialist recruitment tools. 

• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current vacancies and future hiring needs. 

• Screen and interview candidates, assessing experience, motivations, availability and suitability for each brief. 

• Work closely with consultants to understand role requirements, project details, packages and recruitment processes. 

• Prepare candidate shortlists and accurate profiles for consultant review and client submission. • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate feedback and support offer negotiations and successful starts. • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity updates in the recruitment system. • Build long-term relationships with candidates and contribute to agreed delivery and placement targets.

Who We’re Looking For 

Our client is looking for a proactive, organised resourcer who enjoys speaking with people, understands the importance of a well-qualified candidate and takes pride in delivering a strong recruitment process. 

Ideally, you will bring: 

• Experience in recruitment resourcing, candidate delivery or a related recruitment role. 

• An interest in or exposure to construction, property, real estate, engineering, infrastructure or a related professional market. 

• Confidence in sourcing candidates, making outreach calls and conducting candidate screening conversations. 

• Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills. 

• Attention to detail, consistent follow-through and ownership of your candidate pipeline. • The ambition to develop specialist market knowledge and progress within recruitment. 

Candidates from other specialist recruitment markets with strong sourcing skills and a genuine interest in construction will also be considered.
