What we're looking for

We are recruiting experienced academic teaching staff to support NCUK in the development of learning and teaching resources for our International Year One Engineering qualifications.

  • Supporting NCUK in the development of learning and teaching resources, including:
    • Creating and reviewing teaching resources.
    • Reviewing course builds on NCUK's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
    • Presenting support webinars for teachers.
  • Contributing to focus groups and other consultation events as required.
  • Attending training events as required.

What do you need?

Experience (Essential):

  • Previous experience of teaching the relevant engineering subject.

Experience (Desirable):

  • Experience of blended and online teaching.
  • Familiarity with using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) or Learning Management Systems (LMS) for teaching.

Skills and abilities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and adapt to different audiences.
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Works well with others and can build positive working relationships.
  • High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse educational contexts.
  • Confidence in delivering sessions online.
