Job description

We are a dedicated Squad on a mission to redefine Swiss watchmaking, rooted in our legacy since 1884. Driven by innovation and precision we create timepieces that combine modern-retro design with casual, approachable, and sustainable luxury — powered by passionate teams around the world.

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our South Korean organisation and partner closely with local leadership and employees across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on role combining strategic and operational HR, with a strong focus on people partnership, employee experience, organisational needs and the implementation of global HR practices locally.

As the local HR partner, you will work closely with employees and management in South Korea while partnering with our HQ HR team to translate business needs into effective people solutions, provide HR guidance and ensure consistent HR practices across the organisation.

Your contribution:

  • You will act as the key HR partner for the South Korean organisation, providing proactive HR support and guidance to local management and employees.
  • You will partner with managers on people-related topics across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance, development, employee relations and offboarding.
  • You will provide hands-on HR guidance to managers, helping them navigate people matters, policies and local employment practices.
  • You will support managers in addressing employee relations and performance topics, escalating complex matters to HQ HR or external experts when needed.
  • You will work with local leadership to understand business and organisational needs and translate them into practical HR actions and solutions.
  • You will support the implementation of global HR policies, processes and initiatives, ensuring they are effectively adopted in the local market.
  • You will act as a key liaison between South Korea and HQ HR, ensuring strong communication, alignment and consistency in people-related matters.
  • You will provide guidance on local HR practices and employment requirements, partnering with HQ HR and external advisors where appropriate.
  • You will oversee the local employee lifecycle and HR operations, ensuring processes are smooth, accurate and employee-focused.
  • You will ensure effective coordination of payroll, benefits, leave, attendance and employee administration, working with external providers and internal stakeholders.
  • You will maintain accurate employee data and HR records, including administration in SuccessFactors.
  • You will use HR data and employee insights to identify people trends, risks and opportunities and support informed decision-making.
  • You will contribute to organisational development, employee engagement and talent initiatives in the local market.
  • You will support local managers with talent management, succession planning and employee development.
  • You will coordinate IT set-up, mandatory training and other employee lifecycle requirements where needed.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience and ways of working across the organisation.
  • You will support HR projects and initiatives driven by the global HR team and contribute to their successful local implementation.
  • You will ensure all HR matters are handled with a high level of confidentiality, accuracy and compliance.
  • You will support office management and local employee-related topics as required.

You will fit well to our Squad if:

  • You have solid HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience, ideally within an international organisation.
  • You have experience partnering with managers and leadership on a broad range of people topics, beyond HR administration.
  • You have a strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance, development and HR operations.
  • You have experience working with local HR practices and employment requirements in South Korea.
  • You have experience coordinating or overseeing payroll, benefits and employee administration and understand how these processes impact the employee experience.
  • You have experience working with an HRIS, ideally SuccessFactors.
  • You are confident acting as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, balancing employee needs with business priorities.
  • You are comfortable navigating employee relations and sensitive people matters with discretion and sound judgement.
  • You are highly organised and detail-oriented, while also being able to step back and understand the broader business and people context.
  • You are proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented, with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.
  • You are comfortable working independently in a local market while collaborating closely with international HQ stakeholders.
  • You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
  • You enjoy working in a role where you can combine HR expertise, business partnership and employee support and make a tangible impact on the local organisation.
