Cybersecurity Training Project Coordinator | Full Time

Reports to: Senior Director of Curriculum

Cybervance, Inc., specializes in supporting U.S. Government agencies with domestic and international cyber capacity-building programs and turnkey solutions. The company delivers end-to-end services, including assessments, program planning, multi-discipline cyber training, equipment installation, and operational mentoring.

Position Summary

Cybervance is seeking a highly organized Cybersecurity Training Project Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of cybersecurity training for federal government and public-sector clients.

This role is ideal for someone with strong project coordination or project management experience who enjoys managing schedules, communications, technology, stakeholders, and deliverables. The coordinator helps manage training events from initial announcement through delivery and closeout, ensuring each event is organized, professionally executed, and properly documented.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate cybersecurity training events, webinars, and virtual instructor-led training.

Manage training schedules, deadlines, event requirements, and delivery readiness.

Prepare and distribute course announcements, registration information, reminders, and logistical communications.

Maintain training distribution lists/listservs and participant records.

Manage student registration, attendance, waitlists, cancellations, and rosters.

Create, configure, open, and manage Webex training sessions.

Start and manage training recordings and ensure recordings are properly stored.

Provide live event support and troubleshoot common Webex and participant access issues.

Coordinate with instructors, curriculum staff, and other stakeholders to ensure training readiness.

Track required tasks and deliverables and follow up to ensure deadlines are met.

Complete post-event reporting, including registration, attendance, completion, and other required metrics.

Maintain organized training records and supporting documentation in SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other approved systems.

Support recurring program reporting and training operations improvements.

Handle participant information and PII appropriately within a federal training environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields of study include Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Business, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.

Experience in project coordination, project management, training operations, event management, or a related role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or events.

Experience coordinating stakeholders, schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Experience with Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms; Webex experience preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot routine technology and virtual-event issues.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Professionalism when working with federal clients, instructors, and training participants.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts.

Experience supporting technical, cybersecurity, or professional training programs.

Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology and concepts.

Experience with virtual instructor-led training (VILT), Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, registration systems or training databases.

Experience compiling operational metrics, attendance data, or program reports.
