Ratings Forward: S&P Global Early Careers Virtual Event

Apply to join us for Ratings Forward, a cross-regional virtual event on 22 October 2026 at 4pm BST/5pm CEST. This session is aimed at current UK and EU university students who graduate in 2027 or 2028. The event covers S&P Global Ratings' approach to credit analysis and what early-career success looks like at one of the largest providers of credit ratings in the world.

This event will feature:

  • Panel Showcase: Hear journeys from a Year-1 graduate, a Year- 2 graduate, and a converted full-time analyst.
  • Guided Q&A: Put your questions to analysts and leaders across regions.
  • Open Vacancies Overview: Learn about upcoming internship and graduate opportunities and how to stand out.
  • Close & Next Steps: Clear pointers on timelines and application process.

If you are selected to attend this virtual event, you will then be invited to apply for our 2027 intern and graduate opportunities.


Attendance Requirements

  • We are looking for second and third year students studying a BSc, BA or MA course with strong financial and numerical ability, innovative and critical thinking, and storytelling skills. This is along with a genuine interest in credit analysis.
  • We seek collaborative, dependable teammates with strong problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills who can communicate clearly, multi-task, and learn quickly in fast-paced environments. Candidates should demonstrate the initiative to conduct independent research, possess strong spreadsheet and Microsoft Office skills, and show a willingness to learn data/automation and AI technologies (such as Machine Learning, NLP, or RPA). You must be an effective communicator capable of presenting structured research with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • This event is open to students who are interested in working at our S&P Global London, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Dublin or Stockholm office. Please note you must have the permanent right to work in the UK or EU to be considered for this event or an open role and be residing in that location for the duration of the program.
