Job description

Join us as a Financial Planning Centre Assistant


  • Hone your organisational and communication skills, as you provide vital administration for all new financial planning business 
  • Joining us in Investment Operations, you’ll be supporting our coverage teams to deliver an exceptional and first class client service
  • If you're enthusiastic and keen to develop your knowledge of financial planning, this could be a unique opportunity to advance your career as part of a fast paced and collaborative team
  • This role does not meet Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements
  • You'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also spend at least one day a week working from the Bristol office

What you'll do


In this key role, you’ll be providing administration support for all new and existing business transactions. We’ll look to you to interpret suitability letters, client profile and service selection forms to ensure that all new business processing is in-line with client requirements.


You’ll also be:


  • Dealing with all of the queries and administration for existing financial planning products
  • Ensuring all aspects of administration processes are delivered in accordance with agreed procedures and controls
  • Liaising with colleagues on any further support required, and providing proactive ongoing updates through to completion
  • Building rapport with financial planning providers to ensure service standards are met at all times, escalating any concerns on service
  • Managing any complaints in accordance with processes

The skills you'll need


We’re looking for someone with a thorough understanding of financial planning products, coupled with experience of dealing with client requirements in relation to suitability.


You’ll also need:


  • Broad general knowledge of the financial services environment and products
  • The ability to identify scenarios where further clarity is required
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients by telephone and other communication mediums
  • A willingness to develop technical knowledge
  • To be enrolled in either CISI IAD level 4 or CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
