Job Summary

The Business Analyst role serves as a key connection between our business teams and Information Technology department. This role will work closely with departments across the firm to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, coordinate technology initiatives, and ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout the process.

The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive communicator who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between business departments and IT.
  • Partner with department leaders and end users to understand goals, workflows, challenges, and technology needs.
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Coordinate IT projects and enhancement requests, including timelines, milestones, priorities, risks, and deliverables.
  • Maintain visibility into project and request status, ownership, and next steps.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, training, communications, and adoption of new tools and system changes.
  • Provide clear and proactive project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and greater operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 3–7+ years of experience in business analysis, IT project coordination, IT business partnership, or a similar business-facing technology role.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, requests, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong follow-through and ability to drive projects and requests through completion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, IT teams, and executives.
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems, business intelligence/reporting, Salesforce/Litify, Genesys, Domo, DocuWare, UKG, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Business analysis or project management certifications such as CBAP, ECBA, CAPM, PMP, or Agile/Scrum are also beneficial.
  • Legal or professional services experience is a plus but not required.
