Job Description

A Day in the Life 

• Primarily focused on Cerner-based software development and support, including traditional Cerner CCL coding for report writing and rules. Lead the architecture, development and maintenance of standard and custom solutions. 

Qualifications

What’s Required  

• 2 Year / Associate Degree and 6 years of experience developing and supporting custom coding solutions in a healthcare environment (Associate degree preferably in IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) 

• OR 4 Year / Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience developing and supporting custom coding solutions in a healthcare environment (Bachelor's degree preferably in IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) 

• OR 7 years experience In healthcare, specifically developing and supporting custom coding solutions in a healthcare environment 

Technical Knowledge 

• Cerner Command Language (CCL) / Discern Explorer) 

• Web-based languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSON/PHP/XML/XSL) 

• NodeJS-based development and NPM 

• Terminal languages (Bash/PowerShell/CMD Prompt) 

• MSSQL and MySQL and PL/SQL (Oracle) 

• Java 

• AutoHotkey 

• Cerner internal MPage functions and coding 

• Discern Explorer Applications
