About the Role
Newton Vision Corporation is seeking a Technical Recruiter with experience in IT and AI staff augmentation to recruit technology professionals exclusively within the U.S. market.
You will manage the recruiting process from requisition intake and sourcing through candidate selection, offer acceptance, and onboarding coordination. Working closely with account managers and hiring stakeholders, you will deliver qualified candidates while maintaining clear communication and a positive candidate experience. The position is based onsite in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based technology positions supporting client staffing and staff augmentation needs.
- Conduct requisition intake meetings with account managers and hiring stakeholders to clarify technical requirements, compensation parameters, work arrangements, and hiring timelines.
- Source active and passive candidates through professional networks, job boards, Boolean searches, referrals, direct outreach, and the applicant tracking system.
- Screen candidates for relevant technical experience, communication skills, location, compensation expectations, availability, and interest in the opportunity.
- Assess candidates against job requirements and identify areas requiring further technical validation.
- Confirm work authorization and sponsorship needs through NVC’s approved recruiting process.
- Prepare accurate candidate submissions that clearly summarize qualifications, relevant experience, compensation expectations, and availability.
- Coordinate interviews, prepare candidates, gather feedback, and communicate next steps.
- Support pay rate discussions and offer acceptance within approved compensation parameters.
- Maintain candidate engagement through the start date and coordinate onboarding with the relevant internal teams.
- Build and maintain pipelines of U.S.-based technology professionals for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and provide regular updates on recruiting activity, pipeline progress, and placements.
- Work toward agreed recruiting and placement goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 2 years recruiting U.S.-based technology / AI professionals within an IT and AI staff augmentation firm.
- Demonstrated success placing technology professionals in contract or staff augmentation assignments.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions through the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of technology roles such as software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, data, cybersecurity, QA, forward deployed engineers, and IT support.
- Ability to distinguish relevant hands-on experience from general familiarity with a technology.
- Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean search, passive candidate outreach, and talent pipeline development.
- Experience discussing U.S. compensation expectations, hourly pay rates, availability, and contract assignments.
- Familiarity with U.S. work authorization and sponsorship considerations in recruiting.
- Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system and professional sourcing platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
- An established network of U.S.-based technology professionals.
- Experience recruiting across multiple U.S. states and time zones.
- Familiarity with Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) environments and workflows.
- Familiarity with “Center of Excellence” and “Build-Operate-Transfer” delivery models.
- Experience in a staffing environment with placement-based commissions.
Compensation: $70,000–$75,000 USD
