Job Description – Change Management & Communications Manager – ERP / M&A Transformation
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Change Management & Communications Manager to support a fast-paced, complex global ERP transformation program associated with a Merger & Acquisition (M&A) initiative.
The program involves transitioning colleagues from an older version of SAP to a newer SAP platform, with significant organizational and process changes across Commercial, Manufacturing, and Finance functions. The transformation will have a worldwide colleague impact, requiring structured change management, stakeholder engagement, and effective communications.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on Change Management experience, preferably supporting large-scale ERP, SAP, M&A, or enterprise transformation programs. The individual should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment with multiple competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities supporting the global ERP transformation.
- Conduct detailed Change Impact Assessments to determine the impact of the SAP transition on employees, processes, roles, and business functions.
- Perform Stakeholder Analysis and develop stakeholder engagement strategies for impacted groups globally.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, functional teams, project teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute change communication plans aligned with project milestones and transformation objectives.
- Create clear, engaging, and effective visual communications, presentations, announcements, FAQs, leadership communications, and project updates.
- Translate complex ERP and business-process changes into simple and effective communications for diverse audiences.
- Assess organizational readiness and identify potential resistance, adoption challenges, and change risks.
- Support change activities across Commercial, Manufacturing, and Finance functions.
- Work effectively within a complex M&A and ERP transformation environment with evolving requirements.
- Independently manage assigned change activities while coordinating with broader program and business teams.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliverables within aggressive project timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Change Management / Organizational Change Management experience.
- PROSCI, CCMP, or equivalent Change Management certification.
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience conducting Change Impact Assessments.
- 3+ years of Strong experience with Stakeholder Analysis, Stakeholder Engagement, and Stakeholder Management.
- 3+ years of proven experience developing and executing change management communication strategies.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong ability to develop visual communications and executive-level presentations.
- Ability to take direction while working independently with limited supervision.
- Comfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity, evolving requirements, and competing priorities.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation programs.
- Experience with SAP transformation or SAP migration programs.
- Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) or post-merger integration initiatives.
- Experience delivering change management for large-scale global transformation programs.
- Experience supporting organizational change across Commercial, Manufacturing, and/or Finance functions.
- Experience working with geographically distributed and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $55-$62/hour This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
