Are you ready to lead the infrastructure projects powering the energy transition?

We are seeking a proactive Site Manager to join our Power Conversion team. In this role, you will be the technical and operational heartbeat of our industrial projects, leading field teams and ensuring the successful delivery of complex electrification systems. If you are a collaborative leader who thrives on site and takes pride in operational excellence, we invite you to help us build a more sustainable future.

Job Description

What you will accomplish

You will be the primary point of contact for the end-to-end site lifecycle, from initial tender to final commissioning. You will:

  • Lead Project Planning: Shape the success of our projects by coordinating site scheduling, estimating costs for installation work, and planning infrastructure requirements during the tender phase.
  • Drive Execution: Manage the mobilization of site teams, oversee construction progress, and ensure that our "Construction Operating Rhythm" is consistently applied across all project sites.
  • Champion Safety and Quality: Uphold our unwavering commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. You will proactively manage risks, perform quality inspections, and ensure all contractors meet our high performance and safety benchmarks.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Act as a bridge between design offices and site teams, ensuring data flows efficiently and that stakeholders are kept informed through accurate, timely progress reporting.
  • Manage Field Operations: Take ownership of site budgets and staffing plans, ensuring that our technical solutions are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

The value you will bring

You are a natural leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for electrical engineering. You excel in fast-paced, site-based environments where clear communication and rigorous planning are essential. Your ability to anticipate challenges, manage complex contractor relationships, and mentor team members ensures that every project not only meets its technical goals but also fosters a culture of safety and operational excellence.

What you need to succeed

We are looking for someone who brings significant experience in managing site operations for large-scale electrical installations. Key requirements include:

  • Substantive experience as a Site or Construction Manager, ideally within an electrical engineering environment.

  • Familiarity with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, such as switchgear, transformers, or rotating machines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
  • Relevant safety certification, such as NEBOSH for Construction (or similar).
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently to project sites across the UK and Ireland.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is beneficial; however, we value significant, relevant hands-on experience just as highly.

Why join us?

At our Power Conversion business, we provide the electrification systems that are critical to the world’s energy, maritime, and industrial organizations. You will join a global team dedicated to decarbonization and efficiency, working on challenging projects that make a real-world difference. We offer a flexible, remote-friendly work environment and a comprehensive benefits package—including employer pension contributions, private health insurance, and life assurance—tailored to support your personal and professional needs.
