Contract Family Law Attorney — Devenere Law Collective • About the role: Join a collaborative, client-centered legal team as a Contract Family Law Attorney. • Location: Houston, TX (must be able to attend court in Harris, Fort Bend, and Brazoria Counties and travel to the Houston office as needed). • Engagement type: 1099 Independent Contractor; initial 6–8 month contract with potential conversion to full-time. • Compensation: $90–$115 per approved billable hour; expected 160 approved billable hours per month; estimated earnings $14,400–$18,400/month. • Required experience (preferred): • 5+ years of experience • Texas Family Law • Divorce litigation • Child custody and support • Conservatorship • Property division • Enforcement actions and modifications • Family court hearings, mediation, and trial representation • Discovery and depositions • Required courtroom experience: Contested hearings, mediations, trials, direct and cross-examination. • What you'll need: • Active Texas Bar license in good standing • Strong Texas family law background and ability to manage cases independently • Courtroom and trial experience, including discovery and deposition practice • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and final orders • Mediation and negotiation skills; ability to handle high-conflict matters • Strong written and oral advocacy skills • Ability to meet approximately 160 billable hours monthly • Ability to work as a 1099 contractor and commit to a 6–8 month engagement • Why join Devenere Law Collective: Fully remote environment, flexible contract structure, competitive hourly rate, potential full-time conversion, collaborative firm culture, exposure to complex family law matters.   #HireFinder #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Remote
