Job description

Our Country Manager position is based in Spain. In this role, we expect you to have the capability and motivation to manage the market. It’s not just about making sales; it involves actively seeking new opportunities – exploring new business lines, finding new possibilities with current partners, maintaining relationships, etc. The ultimate goal is to grow our market share and revenue.

Having experience in the financial sector is a requirement, but we don't expect you to know everything about everything – learning can happen on the job, and we provide extensive training at the start.

What You Will Do

  • Sales and business development with financial institutions – securing new deals (where possible) and identifying/developing new opportunities with existing partners.
  • General representation in the Spanish market – engaging with industry associations, attending conferences, etc., as the need arises.
  • Travelling to meet partners in Spain.
  • Continuous business analysis and growth within the Spanish market.
  • Optimizing partner profitability via back-office operations.
  • Communication with other departments/teams (sharing market insights, coordinating marketing activities, etc.).
  • Completing ad hoc reports where necessary.
  • Back-office tasks – e.g., configuring links, implementing price changes on schedule.
  • Assisting with monthly billing – verifying results, filling in required report data, and forwarding it to the accounting department.
  • Communicating with the IT team regarding potential feature development and providing product feedback.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector.
  • Excellent English language proficiency.
  • Ability and willingness to understand IT solutions – the role doesn't require hands-on technical work, but one must grasp the logic of integrations and how APIs function in order to explain and sell them.

What We Offer

  • Performance-driven environment – high expectations with trust in your ability to deliver results.
  • Opportunity to put your experience and knowledge into action to grow the market share.
  • Possibility to make decisions and experiment freely.
  • Flexible work arrangement – we don't control your work time, we focus on the results.
