About the Role

We are looking for a self-driven Account Manager based in Japan who wants to make an impact and enjoys solving complex challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Promote MCC products and our unique value proposition to assigned customers
  • Use active listening to identify customer pain points and match them to MCC's strengths, adapting to market dynamics
  • Develop account strategies that identify key growth areas and set out action plans to resolve issues and drive organic revenue
  • Meet sales budget targets (bookings and billings)
  • Own periodic customer business reviews
  • Apply critical and systems thinking to solve problems proactively
  • Conduct key analyses, including TAM, market trends, competitive landscape, and capacity, and share insights with the relevant product teams
  • Use available sales tools and your understanding of supply chain management to maximize the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate regionally and globally to achieve KPIs

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in the Japan local market
  • Ability to travel 40% or as needed.
  • Proven ability in budgeting, driving sales, and delivering customer solutions
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (business level or higher)
  • Excellent agility, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach
  • A strong sense of ownership and first-principles thinking
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
