Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Business Analyst – Wealth & Trust Management for their Remote location.

Responsibilities:

  • Conversion / Deconversion
  • Lead and support client/book-of-business conversions and deconversions on/off the CLIENT AddVantage platform, including data mapping, gap analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with source and target system teams to define data conversion rules, mapping templates, and validation criteria.
  • Develop and execute test plans for conversion cycles (mock conversions, parallel testing, dress rehearsals) and manage defect triage.
  • Document conversion runbooks, cutover plans, rollback strategies, and post-conversion sign-off procedures.
  • Configuration
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into AddVantage system configuration specifications (account types, fee schedules, product codes, tax lot rules, statement/reporting parameters, workflow rules, etc.).
  • Configure and maintain platform parameters in line with trust and wealth management business rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform configuration impact analysis prior to implementing changes in production environments.
  • Enhancements
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for platform enhancements from Wealth/Trust operations, Compliance, and Relationship Management teams.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and user stories for enhancement initiatives.
  • Partner with CLIENT product teams and internal IT to prioritize, scope, and validate enhancement requests.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for enhancement releases, including test case creation and defect management.
  • Change Request (CR) Management
  • Own the end-to-end change request lifecycle — intake, impact assessment, prioritization, approval, implementation tracking, and closure.
  • Liaise with CLIENT vendor teams for CR submission, status tracking, and resolution.
  • Maintain CR logs, traceability matrices, and audit documentation in line with governance and compliance standards.
  • Support change advisory board (CAB) discussions and release management activities.
  • General / Cross-Functional
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for CLIENT AddVantage functionality within the Wealth and Trust Management domain.
  • Collaborate with QA, technology, and operations teams to ensure smooth SDLC delivery (Agile/Waterfall as applicable).
  • Support production issue triage and root-cause analysis related to AddVantage functionality.
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements relevant to trust and fiduciary business.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.

Requirements:
  • 10–15 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting CLIENT AddVantage (or equivalent trust/wealth accounting platforms).
  • Proven experience in at least two of the following: conversions/deconversions, configuration, enhancements, change request management.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Wealth Management and Trust Management domains — trust accounting, fiduciary operations, account administration, fee billing, tax processing, and reporting.
  • Experience writing BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall).
  • Strong data analysis skills — mapping, reconciliation, and validation, particularly for conversion projects.
  • Experience with SQL for data analysis/validation (preferred).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience coordinating with CLIENT vendor support teams for issue resolution and CR delivery.
  • Preferred / Good to Have

  • Knowledge of regulatory/compliance frameworks applicable to trust and fiduciary businesses (e.g., OCC regulations, SOX, SOC1/SOC2).
