The Opportunity 

It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. We are looking for a person with a keen interest in Aged Care to join the Silverchain team in the Brisbane North area. *Entry Level No Experience Required*

• Award rate $40.77 per hour + Super + Paid KM's
• Casual roles with a view to permanent part-time positions. No overnights or weekends!

What we’re looking for 

We are looking for people who: 

• Enjoy having variety in their day. 
• Are passionate about providing an excellent service. 
• Can build positive relationships with clients and their families. 
• Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer. 
• Don’t sweat the small stuff. Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client. 
• Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help.  

In addition, you will need: 

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle 

The role

In the role of Care Worker, you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds.
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
