About the role:

Zixi, the industry leader in IP-based high-value live video transport and observability software, is seeking a dynamic FP&A Manager to lead and enhance our financial planning and analysis function, driving strategic insights and decision-making to support the company’s rapid growth. In this role, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership, oversee complex financial analyses, and lead efforts to optimize financial performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial analysis with software companies, advanced modeling capabilities, and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the development and management of sophisticated financial models to support company-wide forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations through in-depth analysis of financial performance against key metrics and organizational goals.
  • Overseeing the preparation and delivery of executive-level financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior leadership, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Driving the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the CFO and leadership team.
  • Monitoring and reporting business and financial performance, identifying actionable opportunities to improve results and operational efficiency.
  • Owning the preparation and presentation of critical KPIs (e.g., ARR, retention rates, pipeline performance, sales efficiency) with detailed variance and trend analyses.
  • Partnering with go-to-market leadership to evaluate lead generation activities, bookings, pipeline data, and revenue forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Conducting financial due diligence and evaluating the financial impact of strategic initiatives, business opportunities, and investments.
  • Managing ad hoc financial projects and analyses as required to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or a related role, ideally within the software industry and with a PE-backed company.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis with advanced knowledge of financial statements and U.S. GAAP principles.
  • Mastery of Excel; experience with financial systems such as NetSuite or comparable tools is a significant plus.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • A strategic thinker with a sharp analytical mind, capable of identifying trends, solving complex problems, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Track record of process optimization and implementing best practices in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is$130,000 – $165,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications plus an annual bonus opportunity.
