Position Summary

The Director of Learning & Organizational Development will serve as a strategic talent architect, responsible for defining, executing, and scaling end-to-end talent enablement across the organization. Operating within a high-performance collaborative culture where employee engagement is a priority, this leader will directly bridge business strategy and talent capability—accelerating onboarding, assimilation and overall learning and growth opportunities from early-career talent through experienced professional levels, succession planning and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Objectives

▪  Enterprise L&D Strategy & Roadmap: Architect, communicate, and implement a multi-year learning agenda the benefit all levels of talent throughout the organization. Design and implement programs that foster an engaging learning experience while developing and expanding core skills that foster learning, growth, engagement and a spirit of internal networking.

▪  Onboarding and Cultural Assimilation: Design and oversee high-impact onboarding, consulting foundation academies, and technical development pathways. Reduce initial ramp time and optimize billable utilization metrics for lateral hires, campus cohorts, and experienced managers.

▪  Management and Leadership Development: Develop cohort-based leadership development programs focused on practice building, complex client origination, commercial acumen, high-stakes negotiation, and team mentorship to support high-potential professionals progressing to Partner.

▪  Professional Accreditation & Technical Rigor: Ensure systematic management, tracking, and compliance of Continuing Professional Education as appropriate industry certifications while partnering with leadership, employees and accrediting organizations for compliance.

▪  M&A Talent Integration & Change Leadership: Establish standardized cultural onboarding frameworks to rapidly onboard and integrate incoming talent in an effort to provide them a best-in-class experience learning the business, culture, programs and opportunities for learning and growth.

▪  Modern Learning Architecture: Modernize the firm’s learning ecosystem, blending interactive peer workshops, asynchronous micro-learning, simulation-based advisory drills and core management skills into the daily regimen.  Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement, fostering opportunities to build internal networks, sharing technical competencies, mentoring and access to leadership.

▪  Metrics, ROI & Partner Governance: Define qualitative and quantitative KPIs measuring learning effectiveness, talent retention impact, and client delivery readiness.

Qualifications & Competencies

▪  Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in learning, organizational design, talent development, or human capital management, with at least 5+ within a professional services environment.

▪  Partnership Savvy & Executive Presence: Demonstrated credibility and track record influencing senior partners, practice leaders, and executive stakeholders who possess rigorous technical and commercial standards.

▪  Instructional Design & Commercial Acumen: Mastery of modern adult learning principles, leadership frameworks, performance consulting, and experiential simulation designs tailored to billable professionals.

▪  Team Leadership & Mentorship: Proven success mentoring, coaching and developing team members to provide career growth, exposure to new projects and overall career enrichment.

▪  Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree required.

Reporting: The Director of Learning & Development reports to the Chief People Officer (CPO).

Annual Expected Pay Range$140,000—$180,000 USD
