Job description

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinate local branding and advertising campaigns for county offices, developing and adapting creative concepts and strategies within corporate brand guidelines to meet the unique needs of each location.
  • Develop and drive the rollout of statewide marketing and advertising campaigns at the county level, developing implementation plans and strategies tailored to each location's needs.
  • Partner with county office personnel to develop and maintain branding across all local materials (signage, print ads, digital ads, social posts, promotional items), crafting solutions that meet brand standards and visual identity guidelines
  • Serve as a resource to county office staff, answering branding and advertising questions and directing them to appropriate corporate resources
  • Design and adapt corporate campaign materials for local relevance, creating custom content and messaging that maintains brand consistency across counties
  • Create and organize a database of branding/advertising requests, assets that can be utilized and adapted by county offices
  • Communicate regularly with county office staff and corporate marketing leadership to identify local marketing needs and opportunities
  • Oversee the company’s Hubspot account, including training county professionals who have access, maintaining assets, approval of posts and other troubleshooting as needed
  • Plan, build, and execute the company's email marketing strategy at the county level, crafting localized email content and campaigns tailored to each location's audience
  • General knowledge of GFB brand guidelines, county office structure, Field Services operations and Sales Department operations
  • Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.); familiarity with basic design or advertising software a plus

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel up to 30% of time to county offices across the state (same-day and occasional overnight travel, via vehicle)
  • Help gather local feedback and content (photos, testimonials, event information) to support broader marketing and PR efforts
  • Special projects as assigned by the Information/PR Director

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple local campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 4+ years of experience with digital or social media advertising preferred
  • Familiarity with local media buying and advertising placement a plus
  • Graphic design experience and familiarity with Adobe programs a plus
  • A valid Georgia driver's license with a Driving Record that meets underwriting standards of the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities
  • May provide guidance and support to county office staff on branding and advertising matters

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to speak in conference/meeting settings
  • Ability to lift some equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Travel flexibility on planes and in vehicles
