Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting for KTC, with a strong focus on operational cash flow management, billing/collections, and financial forecasting. The position partners closely with business leaders and functional teams across the Gulf region to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and support for profitability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities


  • Cash & Billing Management: Manage operational cash flow, billings (internal/external), collections, past due tracking, and bank reconciliations
  • Planning & Forecasting: Prepare 3-year business plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with business leaders; conduct pacing and early-read analysis
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze profitability and cash generation performance, propose corrective action plans, and support cost-out/productivity initiatives
  • Reporting: Provide P&L and corporate reporting, monitor variances, and report discrepancies to CPM and PFM teams
  • Project & Governance: Monitor PMX projects, review/approve EV project markups, track unbilled projects (WIP/ECA), and coordinate PMX upside allocation via Unify
  • Compliance & Close: Perform balance sheet reconciliations across three countries per GE and Kuwaiti governance standards; manage month-end/quarter-end close activities
  • Statutory & Stakeholder Engagement: Support statutory filings (GEGS & GEII); participate in weekly SOF management calls and liaise with GE Treasury and Gas Power FP&A teams
  • Reports/Coordinates with: CPM team, PFM team, Alpha team, Statutory team, Gas Power FP&A team, GE Treasury.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint to analyze information to build reports and presentation
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic & English, both verbal and written

  • Interpersonal, supportive and responsive skill 
  • Strong prior experience in commercial Finance and/or in the energy industry.
  • Demonstrated team management ability in matrix environment.
