About this role

We're looking for a mid-level iOS Engineer to join our One Logistics team at Just Eat Takeaway, where you'll own the iOS compliance module powering delivery compliance — supporting couriers at every stage of the delivery process from pickup to proof of delivery. Guided by our values — Lead, Deliver, Care — you'll help build a brand-new logistics application while maintaining our legacy platform. Our customer-centric, full-stack team across Canada thrives engineering independence, giving you real ownership to ship features fast and with quality.

Location: remote Canada 

Reporting to: Technology Manager

These are some of the key ingredients to the role: 

• Finger on the pulse of the latest iOS/Swift trends.
• Ability to write expressive, readable, composable, and testable Swift code.
• Understanding of the iOS application & view lifecycles.
• Basic understanding of iOS provisioning profiles and certificates.
• Basic understanding of functional & reactive programming.
• Observance of Clean architectural and coding principles.
• Experience with Mobile Automation Testing.
• knowledge of UIKit and swiftUI
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Desire to share knowledge with engineers of all levels.
• Willingness to constantly improve quality standards.
• Bonus: practical experience with React Native

What will you bring to the table? 

• Understanding Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Familiarity with MVVM  architectural patterns.
• Experience releasing and maintaining live iOS/Cocoa applications.
• Familiarity with Fastlane and/or maintaining CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with debugging, performance measurement, and test-driven development.
• Understanding of REST principles and exposure to the backend.
• Experience using Git and related tools like GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Passion for engineering practices such as TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.

Compensation range: $$79,440.00 - $100,000.00 

Final compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
