Head of Strategic Finance and Corporate Development

About this role

Lead the transactions and financial strategy that shape Kaseya’s portfolio and long-term value. Working closely with the VP of Strategy & Operations, the CFO/COO and the broader executive team, you will evaluate where to invest, execute acquisitions and divestitures, and strengthen relationships with lenders and investors. This is a hands-on leadership role with a team to develop and responsibility for turning financial insight into business results.

Key responsibilities

  • Corporate Development / M&A: Build the transaction pipeline using market intelligence and portfolio analysis, including opportunities for strategic partnerships. Lead acquisitions and divestitures through valuation, diligence, negotiation and closing, coordinating business leaders, Legal, Finance and external advisers. Partner with the PMO on integration or separation plans.
  • Lender Relations: Manage lender relationships and communications in partnership with the CFO/COO and Treasury. Lead lender presentations and diligence responses, and coordinate with Finance on accurate, timely reporting against financing commitments.
  • Investor Relations: Lead investor updates and presentations that explain performance, strategy and value creation. Partner with the CFO/COO on shareholder engagement, board materials and responses to investor questions.
  • Capital Strategy: Evaluate capital structure, financing and refinancing alternatives. Recommend how to deploy capital across growth investments, transactions and debt reduction, balancing returns with liquidity, leverage and financial flexibility.
  • Strategic Finance: Own long-range financial models, scenario analysis and investment cases that support portfolio and capital decisions. Partner with FP&A and business leaders to assess growth, profitability and cash flow, test key assumptions, and track performance against expected returns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team. Set high standards for analysis and executive communication, build repeatable processes, and stay personally involved in the most consequential work.

What you bring

  • 15+ years of progressive professional experience, including at least 5 years in investment banking, private equity or corporate development.
  • A record of leading acquisitions, divestitures or other complex investments, with strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, with a strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, capital structure and investment returns.
  • Credibility with executives and external counterparties, including the ability to explain complex issues clearly and manage sensitive lender or investor discussions.
  • Experience developing teams and delivering through ambiguity, with the willingness to work through the details personally and the discipline to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Software or SaaS experience and experience in a private equity backed business are strongly preferred.

Why join us

  • Drive impact at scale: Influence portfolio and capital decisions at a global software company serving more than 40,000 customers. Your work will help determine where the company grows, how it funds that growth, and the value it creates.
  • Own a broad mandate: Connect transaction execution with strategic finance and capital strategy. Work closely with the VP of Strategy & Operations, the CFO/COO and the broader executive team, bring a point of view to important decisions, and see recommendations through to their impact on the business.
  • Build a lasting capability: Develop a team and establish the investment discipline, relationships and processes that support Kaseya’s next stage of growth. Shape how the company evaluates opportunities and turns them into results.
