Job description

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Finance Manager – North America Controllership for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • This role will be responsible for supporting the North America controllership team, both integrated and non-integrated entities.
  • The role will report directly into the North America Client controllership team and will require communication and coordination with on-shore, off-shore, and non-integrated entities.
  • The role requires a solid understanding of US GAAP and the ability to meet various deadlines.
  • The position is responsible for month end journal entries, account reconciliations, providing support to the business teams, and various ad hoc requests and assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP
  • Account reconciliation preparation
  • Preparation of month end journal entries
  • Supports completion of monthly fluctuation analysis
  • Assist the broader North America controllership team with special projects and other tasks as required
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP
  • Support and collaborate with business teams and other corporate functions
  • Statutory reporting and audit responsibilities
 
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and US GAAP including revenue recognition experience
  • Deep understanding of internal controls processes
  • Highly effective communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively execute on a high number of deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • 7-10 plus years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a large multi-national organization
  • Experience working with remote management and colleagues
  • Previous experiences in IT service industry preferred
  • 19.00 Years of Experience
