Job description

The Role:

The Sr Manager, Global Total Rewards will lead the next chapter of our compensation and benefits strategy. Leading a team of Total Rewards professionals, this role will set the standards, governance, and decision principles that guide rewards across the company. This role will bring exceptional analytical rigor to market intelligence, talent scarcity, compensation, and rewards decisions while building a modern, equitable, explainable, secure and scalable Total Rewards function. This is a full-time remote role, based in the United States reporting to the SVP of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Set 11:11’s Total Rewards strategy and roadmap across compensation, benefits, incentives, job architecture, pay equity and rewards governance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of compensation and benefits professionals; set direction, build capability, and establish clear decision rights. 
  • Define the standards and governance that guide job levels, salary structures, market positioning, merit, incentive, promotion, benefits, and other rewards decisions. 
  • Advise senior leaders, HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and managers on complex compensation, benefits, retention, pay equity, and rewards strategy matters. 
  • Lead market intelligence analysis for critical and hard-to-fill roles, assessing talent scarcity, labor-market dynamics, competitive rewards practices, and emerging risks to inform workforce and rewards decisions. 
  • Set the global benefits strategy, balancing employee needs, competitiveness, affordability, wellbeing, business priorities, and local requirements. 
  • Oversee all related health and welfare benefits, pension, and retirement plan compliance filings, regulatory reporting, audits, plan documentation and vendor accountability.
  • Govern annual compensation cycles, benefits renewals, open enrollment, vendor relationships, compliance, and employee communications through clear quality and service standards.
  • Design and build scalable workflows, decision tools, and reporting products using approved enterprise AI and HR technology; establish responsible practices for privacy, security, data quality, bias review, human oversight and confidence in AI-supported insights. 
  • Build manager and employee understanding of rewards and define measures of success such as market alignment, pay equity, benefits value, retention and trust. 
  • Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies.
  • Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, total rewards, people analytics or related discipline, including global or distributed workforce experience.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading people and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling compensation frameworks, job architecture, pay equity, incentive programs, health and retirement plan strategy, and global benefits governance, including oversight of compliance filings, regulatory reporting, audits, and plan documentation.
  • Exceptional analytical capability, including market intelligence, talent-scarcity analysis, benchmarking, quantitative modeling, and translating complex data into execution decisions required.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI in HR, compensation, benefits, analytics, or related business processes, including scalable workflows and tools with enterprise AI platforms while protecting sensitive data, managing bias and risk, and maintaining human accountability.
  • Experience with HRIS, benchmarking, automation, data visualization, or analytics tools required.
  • WorldatWork, CEBS or comparable certification preferred.
  • Communicates with candor, builds trust, exercises sound judgement and delivers through others.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in assigned country without visa sponsorship.
