Kafene is seeking a Regional Business Consultant to drive sales growth and build lasting partnerships with retail merchants across an assigned territory. You'll be the primary point of contact for your partners, spending most of your week in the field with in-store visits, training sessions, and business reviews that increase product adoption and partner performance. Using HubSpot and data-driven insights, you'll build strategic sales plans, negotiate agreements, and prioritize high-value opportunities. This role involves travel a minimum of four days per week, including overnight stays and occasional air travel within the region.

This is a remote field sales role with no office requirement. Regular in-person work in the Boston area is required, and we are hiring for a candidate based in the Boston region.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retail partners, building strong, long-term relationships through regular in-store visits, follow-ups, and phone check-ins.

  • Deliver sales and training presentations that drive product adoption and partner growth.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and growth initiatives.

  • Negotiate agreements with retail partners and support integration of marketing strategies and technology solutions, such as POS systems.

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and use HubSpot to track activity, analyze sales trends, and report on performance.

  • Partner with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams on growth strategy while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Spanish fluency is a big plus.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in retail, finance, or lease-to-own.

  • A consultative, client-first approach to building and maintaining strong partner relationships.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences both in person and virtually.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and data analysis tools to track performance and drive growth.

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel a minimum of four days per week, including overnight stays.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: Earn a competitive base salary $80,000-$90,000, along with a bonus based on performance
