We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager Compliance & Assurance – Gas West to join us in our Gas Operations West team in Perth on a full time permanent basis.


Reporting to the Head of Asset Operations WA, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory, safety, environmental and statutory obligations are met across WA and NT. The role oversees audits, regulatory reporting, risk management and regulator engagement, while providing strategic compliance advice and driving a culture of accountability, governance and continuous improvement across Gas West operations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage regulatory compliance, statutory reporting and regulator engagement.
  • Lead and maintain the Gas West assurance program and compliance framework.
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, assurance reviews and compliance assessments.
  • Lead the closure of compliance actions, non-conformances and regulatory findings.
  • Provide assurance, risk and compliance advice to operational leaders and stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative changes and drive compliance improvements.

About the Team

Gas Operations West is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of gas transmission assets across WA and NT in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.

Working across a diverse portfolio of assets, including transmission pipelines, facilities and remote infrastructure, the team combines operational expertise, technical capability and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver outstanding outcomes for customers, communities and regulators. We manage everything from routine maintenance and operational response through to major outages, improvement initiatives and asset integrity activities.
