Donorbox is a leading fundraising platform and donor management system for nonprofit organizations. Our mission is to accelerate positive impact worldwide by helping nonprofits become highly effective at raising funds and managing their supporter base. Since 2014, we have powered more than 100,000 global organizations to raise over $4 billion in donations. πŸš€

Our fast-growing company is profitable and bootstrapped with a healthy run rate. We have a fully distributed and diverse 150-person team based in 16+ states and 23+ countries. In 2026, Donorbox was named by Built In as one of the Best Places to Work in Washington, DC.

πŸ… Donorbox is rated the #1 software for fundraising, donor management, and nonprofit payment on G2 based on hundreds of verified customer reviews β€” a reflection of the care our team puts into building products that nonprofits trust.

The Role

Donorbox is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our growing Product team. Reporting directly to the Design Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the end-to-end user experience of our platform, from discovery through delivery.

In this role, you will translate complex product and business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and impactful design solutions. You’ll advocate strongly for users while ensuring design decisions are grounded in business goals and technical realities. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads throughout the product lifecycle to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience designing B2B products and complex workflows, including SaaS platforms, CRMs, ERPs, and other enterprise tools.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead user-centered design efforts by planning and conducting user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis) to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to contribute to product discovery, roadmap planning, and feature definition, ensuring design is embedded from early concept through launch.

  • Own the full design lifecycle, including user journeys, flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs, validating solutions with users and stakeholders along the way.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure smooth handoff and implementation.

  • Evaluate and iterate on live features by monitoring product performance, analyzing qualitative and quantitative feedback, and using data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience.

  • Help prioritize design work in alignment with the product backlog, ensuring the team delivers meaningful value to both users and the business while maintaining a high-quality, cohesive experience.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership, strategic thinking, and visual craftsmanship.

  • Enterprise / B2B product experience, including designing complex features and workflows for SaaS platforms, CRMs, ERPs, or similar tools.

  • Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma/Claude.

  • Data-informed design mindset, with experience using product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) to inform research, validate hypotheses, and measure impact.

  • User research knowledge, including the ability to plan, conduct, synthesize, and communicate insights from both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design decisions, document user journeys, and deliver high-quality design handoffs to Engineering.

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-impact user experiences.

  • Experience working in the nonprofit or social impact space

  • Background in high-growth startups or scaling products

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
