Job description

This is a remote position.

A software developer is a creative tech professional who designs, codes, tests, and maintains applications or systems software. They solve complex real-world problems by translating user requirements into functional digital solutions using programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript. From mobile apps to operating systems, they ensure technology runs efficiently.



Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support production-grade software systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Python- and JavaScript-based services, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, implementing long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Design and implement scalable data processing and application pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and cloud services.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools, translating insights into system and code improvements.
• Implement automation, orchestration, and CI/CD workflows to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, data, and business stakeholders—to deliver robust, scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship and contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and system design standards.
