Job description

Overview:

We are now hiring for a Marketing Project Coordinator who will manage projects directly related to the organization’s marketing campaigns, initiatives, and strategies.

This position will be the first point of contact for all teams, both internal and external, when operating departments need creative services.


In this role you will coordinate operations for a team of fifteen, owning and managing projects that impact multiple departments for key strategic initiatives.
You'll work cross-functionally with other critical marketing and corporate functions to ensure projects are completed according to plan at the highest quality.

Additionally, the Marketing Project Coordinator will manage the technical aspects of all marketing systems and processes, including redefining, creating, and implementing new strategies to ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively. This  position will also track, analyze, and summarize department data to ensure the department is meeting benchmarks and continuously improving.


This position will report to the Director of Marketing Operations.

LOCATION: This position can be based remotely, with a high preference given to applicants near one of our locations (Austin, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Lenox or Tucson)

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE

  • Project Management: Manage the full scope of projects supporting the Marketing campaigns, strategies, initiatives, and creative work from planning to completion. Resolve problems, removes roadblocks, identifies additional
    support options, regularly reports project status's by creating reports for marketing leadership summarizing project status, roadblocks, and priority to ensure projects are completed on time and at the highest quality. 
  • Process Excellence: Analyze, design and implements scalable processes to ensure efficient and effective execution of cross-functional work impacting the Marketing department. Work collaboratively with all critical marketing
    and corporate departments to understand and map existing processes to ensure all requirements documented and met prior to implementing change. Coordinate and support change management activities related to process redesign and implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the Marketing Operations Manager in building tools and summarizing data to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing department. Provide actionable recommendations to resolve bottlenecks and other operational challenges.

Other functions & duties:

  • Actively demonstrates Canyon Ranch service standards and Ethos principles with staff and guests.
  • Travels to other Canyon Ranch properties or vendor locations as needed.
  • Participates in meetings as required.
Qualifications:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 1-2 years previous experience in same or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications/Marketing major, or equivalent
  • Skilled in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tools a plus.
  • Excellent planning skills.
  • Possess a strong project management and organizational mindset.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
