Senior Network Security Engineer - Bethesda, MD (Remote)

Duration: 12 months

Seeking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to design and implement next-gen firewall management solutions for our global networks, ensuring compliance and security at every level. Collaborate with expert network architects and engineers to drive innovation and reliability in our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global infrastructure monitoring and automation solutions.
  • Lead the design of tools for network reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with network teams to integrate security operations solutions.
  • Conduct network analysis and improve system performance and reliability.
  • Manage SecOps NRE products, including new hardware systems delivery.
  • Define and implement Recovery Time and Point Objectives for network infrastructure.
  • Establish partnerships with business disciplines and other teams to meet service level requirements.
  • Create strategies, objectives, and budgets for NRE SecOps tools and systems.
  • Promote continuous improvement and a zero-fault culture.

Candidate Profile:

Must Have:

  • Graduate degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience/certification.
  • 7 years' experience with network security tools.
  • Experience in leading a team of Network Engineers for firewall management solutions.
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting firewall management tools (e.g., Palo Alto Panorama, Firemon, Checkpoint MDS).

Preferred:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies.
  • Familiarity with firewall management solutions (e.g., Cisco Client, Firemon).
