Job description

Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds,  and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

Equifax’s US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit is seeking a Solution Sales Executive to join our Data-Driven Marketing (DDM) sales team. The USIS business unit transforms massive consumer and commercial datasets into actionable consumer and commercial risk, identity and fraud, and marketing insights that create a competitive advantage for our customers and open new opportunities.

The DDM team is responsible for solutions that leverage data insights and solutions to attract the right new customers, deliver a positive experience, and deepen existing relationships. From precise audience segmentation to data-driven growth strategy, Equifax helps businesses reach consumers with the right financial profile for products and services.

As a Solutions Sales Executive, you will operate as the industry and domain expert responsible for supporting Equifax’s partnership and enterprise sales opportunities within the Fintech vertical as a subject matter expert for the DDM products and services. This role uncovers Fintech clients' complex business problems, aligns go-to-market strategies with marketing, and architects customized, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value and return on investment (ROI) using Equifax products, processes, and services.

An ideal candidate will have expertise with consumer and commercial marketing data, experience working in the Fintech industry, and possess strong sales acumen. You will be tasked with protecting existing revenue as well as growing new business.

What you’ll do

  • Domain & Industry Advisorship: Function as a trusted advisor and Data-Driven Marketing domain expert for sales activities within Fintech covered accounts, particularly focusing on highly complex, configurable, and custom solutions.
  • Go-To-Market & ROI Alignment: Lead and collaborate on the development of compelling value propositions; align go-to-market plans with marketing and articulate concrete business value and financial ROI to client executive teams.
  • Executive & C-Suite Engagement: Guide strategic conversations with senior business leaders and C-suite stakeholders, interpreting internal/external market challenges and recommending best practices to achieve key performance outcomes.
  • Solution Prescription & AI Insights: Leverage deep knowledge of DDM solutions, differentiated data sets, and AI-powered predictive insights to prescribe tailored offerings that address market segments, data trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Requirement Discovery & Translation: Conduct discovery meetings to collect and translate detailed customer requirements into deployable, high-impact marketing solutions across both digital and non-digital channels.
  • Pre-Sales & Deal Orchestration: Partner closely with Account Executives, Enterprise Alliances, and account teams on proposals, negotiations, and contracting processes, demonstrating Equifax’s unique value levers and ROI.
  • Competitive Positioning: Demonstrate expert knowledge of the competitive landscape (competitors, pricing strategies, GTM approach) to drive competitive positioning and defend Equifax's unique value proposition.
  • Cross-Functional COE Collaboration: Act as a sales team liaison with Equifax Centers of Excellence (Operations, Technology, Pricing, Client Deal Team, Legal/Compliance, Security, and Product Management) to ensure complete alignment and execution.
  • Risk & Regulatory Alignment: Navigate industry regulations (e.g., FCRA, GLBA, privacy frameworks) alongside Legal and Compliance teams to manage regulatory risk for clients.
  • Mentorship & Account Expansion: Mentor enterprise sellers on qualifying DDM opportunities, transferring solution knowledge, and partnering with Customer Success Managers on client renewals and account expansions.
  • Pipeline & Strategic Growth: Maintain consistent opportunity updates in Salesforce, actively participating in DDM strategic growth initiatives, forecasting, and prioritization.
  • Travel: Travel as needed, averaging 40–50%.

What experience you need

  • Education & Experience: B.S. or B.A. in a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Domain Experience: 7–10+ years in data licensing, analytics platforms, and/or marketing data sales experience, with a strong focus on Fintech or financial services.
  • Business Case & ROI Modeling: Proven track record of developing executive business cases, financial ROI models, and value frameworks for business leaders.
  • Pre-Sales & Technical Solutioning: Demonstrated experience in pre-sales engineering/solution sales, converting complex customer requirements into custom product architectures.
  • Communication & Facilitation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven success facilitating high-stakes client discovery and proposal meetings.
  • Deployment & Problem Solving: Expert problem solver with hands-on experience in data deployment, onboarding, and complex configuration management.

What could set you apart
