We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and manage our cutting-edge projects involving APIs and AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in managing complex technical projects.
Program Management
- Lead multiple API-driven projects ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and oversee execution from conception to delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure project alignment.
Technical Expertise
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs.
- Oversee AWS infrastructure projects, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot API and AWS-related technical issues and provide strategic solutions.
Risk Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays or issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement best practices and tools for project management and process improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, particularly with API projects.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
