Senior Content Analyst

Position Summary 

The Senior Analyst — DecodeRx Product Content Mapping is a subject-matter expert who owns the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of Precision AQ’s governed payer and provider intelligence assets. You will lead the mapping of raw, inconsistently named payer/plan and HCP/provider records into governed entities, conduct content research to enrich and validate those records, and apply the business rules that keep the hierarchies clean and defensible. 

This role blends deep market-access domain knowledge with strong data skills (SQL, Excel, and modern analytics tooling) and a continuous-improvement mindset. You will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Content, Delivery, and Client Success to run the operational cadence, resolve exceptions, and help operationalize AI/ML-assisted mapping while maintaining appropriate human oversight. 

Reporting & Team Context 

• Team: DecodeRx — Payer & Provider content mapping (payer hierarchy, HCP/provider mapping, and related intelligence assets). 

• Reports to: Product Owner / Product Support Lead (DecodeRx). 

• Collaborates with: Product Managers and Owners, Engineering/DevOps, Content SMEs, Delivery, and Client Success across global time zones. 

Responsibilities 

• Map payer/plan and HCP/provider records into the governed DecodeRx hierarchies by reconciling inconsistent naming, identifiers, and structures from multiple sources into a single governed entity. 

• Conduct content research (online and source-based) to confirm and enrich record details — plan type, parent organization/controller, PBM relationships, and provider affiliations. 

• Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, and prepare reviewer-ready outputs for senior validation; QC junior-analyst mappings and resolve exceptions. 

• Monitor and maintain data quality by validating, cleansing, and enriching data as needed. 

• Work with stakeholders to identify critical data elements and define data quality standards. 

• Create and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata management practices. 

• Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards. 

• Monitor and maintain the integrity of data across multiple systems and applications. 

• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions. 

• Develop and maintain data management tools, including data quality dashboards, scorecards, and reports. 

• Work with Operations teams to ensure that data management processes are integrated into adjacent development and delivery activities. 

• Train end-users on data management and mapping best practices and procedures. 

• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. 

• Participate in data governance committees and collaborate with other data stewards to develop and implement enterprise-wide data management strategies. 

• Gather feedback from internal users and external clients to understand their needs and translate them into meaningful data product improvements. 

Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. 

• At least 3–5 years of experience in payer analytics, formulary/claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a related field. 

• A strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, and data management concepts — including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance. 

• Familiarity with payer mapping, HCP/provider mapping, content research, SQL, data modeling, and database management systems. 

• Experience with master data management (MDM), data profiling, and analysis tools. 

• A combined 2+ years of work experience across United States healthcare data. 

• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements. 

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. 

Desired Qualifications 

• Experience with Reltio, Informatica, or other master data management tools. 

• Familiarity with Snowflake.
