Description of Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of large scale event and experience-related venues and activations. Your focus will be on audiovisual, digital, traditional construction and scenic installations, for some of the worlds most significant endeavors. You will engage in all of our various offers, including Owners Representation, Project Management, and Project Controls specialties. This role will also support the continued growth of our project portfolio across the Middle East. Travel to the region will be required.

We’re looking for an empathetic, thoughtful candidate who has enthusiasm for managing and helping people, as well as expertise in scaling up our project delivery discipline to meet the needs of a quickly growing global entertainment design and delivery company. You will provide superb judgment in executing your responsibilities, stemming from an ease with critical thinking, and an understanding of the risk landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full project life cycle ownership for projects, developing comprehensive project plans for the implementation and successful delivery of projects, from initiation to closeout, focusing on understanding interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.

• Deliver and maintain progress reports and presentations to key stakeholders and partners as required.

• Meticulously engage our teams in planning and scheduling activities, actively soliciting status updates and iterating based on applicable context

• Provide strategic engagement and coordination through the stages of design ensuring that the requirements of AV and entertainment technology systems are represented and communicated effectively into the overall building strategy.

• Facilitate/Attend Owner-Architect-Client meetings and site walks

• Provide robust hands-on risk assessments and mitigation, with an eye on exploiting opportunities

• Contribute to our environment of perpetual learning via lessons learned during or post closeout.

• Engage with Senior Leadership to ensure best working practices and industry standards are maintained if not exceeded across the portfolio and service.

Qualifications and Key Skills

Essential

• 10 years of experience in professional project management work at a senior level with a focus on AV & entertainment technology design and integrations, architecture, events spaces, within construction related fields.

• Demonstrable knowledge base of core project management competencies with strengths in project integration management, scope management, planning/scheduling, cost management, communication management, risk management, and stakeholder management.

• Fundamental understanding of AV system functionality and installation process, sequencing, and techniques.

Desirable

• Formal certification in project management such as Prince 2, PMQ, PMP is advantageous.

• AVIXA CTS Certification is advantageous.

• Deep understanding of location-specific ways of working and cultural intricacies of the Middle East, specifically KSA.

• Experience delivering mega projects and working within complex construction environments is preferred.

• Confidence in professional aptitude and ability to effectively convey skills, knowledge, and qualifications to clients.

• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.

• Detail oriented with the ability to think, plan, and execute multiple projects in different phases simultaneously, calmly and effectively under pressure.

• Understands the value of in-person communication, engagement, and presence.

This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role with flexibility built in. You’ll be working 40 hours per week with flexible hours between 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday, balancing team collaboration, site visits, and project meetings.
