WHO YOU ARE

Teton Ridge is seeking a strategic, commercially minded SVP, Finance & Accounting to serve as the company's most senior financial executive and a core member of the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working directly with the Board of Directors, the SVP, Finance & Accounting owns the company's financial strategy, capital structure, and enterprise value creation agenda across the full portfolio of live events, media and broadcast, content, and lifestyle brands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Set financial strategy: define and execute the long-term financial and capital allocation strategy in partnership with the CEO and Board.
• Own the capital structure: lead financing, treasury, liquidity, and lender relationships.
• Lead the Board relationship: serve as the primary financial voice to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
• Drive M&A and corporate development: evaluate and structure acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Guarantee reporting integrity: hold final accountability for financial statements, the annual audit, and the internal control environment.
• Own planning and performance: lead the budget and forecast cycle and hold the business accountable to plan.
• Build the team: serve as a player-coach by leading, developing, and scaling the finance and accounting organization.

 

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED

• You bring a deep command of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, and you use them to make decisions rather than just report on them.
• You think critically and build comprehensive financial strategies aligned to business objectives.
• You communicate complex financial information with clarity to the Board, investors, and external partners.
• You lead through influence across a senior executive peer group.
• You are fluent in modern financial systems, modeling tools, and analytics platforms.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 5+ years as a SVP, Finance & Accounting, Deputy SVP, Finance & Accounting, or head of finance for a company or division of comparable scale and complexity 
• Track record of presenting to and partnering with a Board of Directors
• Comfortable with partnership tax structures (K-1s, allocations, working with outside tax advisors).
• Experience leading the audit of financial statements, including managing outside auditors.

 

Differentiating Attributes

• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Previous VC- or PE-backed experience is a plus.
• Direct experience with capital raising, debt financing, and M&A execution.
• Media, entertainment, live events, sports, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred; multi-entity and multi-revenue-stream environments required.

Location: This role is eligible for remote work within the United States.
