Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a macOS Platform Engineer to support and scale enterprise Apple Endpoint Management across a large macOS environment. The role focuses on operating and improving the MDM platform, software packaging and deployment, security and compliance policies, Identity & Access Management, and automation across modern Apple enterprise technologies. The consultant will work with tools and concepts such as Fleet, Santa, Platform SSO (PSSO), macOS/Darwin/BSD-Unix, and device management architecture in an environment with more than 1,000 endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Operate and further develop the MDM environment based on Fleet
• Software packaging, deployment and lifecycle management
• Configure and maintain policies, compliance requirements and security policies
• Integrate and operate technologies such as Santa, Platform SSO (PSSO) and other Apple Enterprise Services
• Automate and optimise operational processes within the macOS environment
• Support the introduction of new Apple platform features


Requirements

• Experience in enterprise environments with more than 1,000 endpoints
• macOS (Darwin/BSD-Unix)
• Device Management – process & architecture
• Identity & Access Management
• Modern Apple management tools • Platform Engineer
• German and English – C1
