Platform Engineer 3

This is a remote position.

• Specialist knowledge and experience with the Procure-to-Pay business processes
  
• Support Accounts Payable business users and business operations enabled by S/4HANA, Ariba and Esker
  
• Lead/participate in meetings with business users to discuss new and existing support requirements
  
• Lead/participate in solution design sessions
  
• Translate business requirements into SAP-centric functional specifications
  
• Communicate requirements to the SAP development team, and coordinate cross-team activities as required
  
• Configure S/4HANA using the SAP Implementation Guide IMG to meet business requirements
  
• Develop and execute unit test plans in support of SAP configuration
  
• Review and participate in developer unit testing, as required
  
• Assist business users with User Acceptance Testing UAT
  
• Comply with the Aflac Software Development Life Cycle SDLC, including transport elevations using ChaRM
  
• Communicate t-code security requirements to the Aflac Security team, and unit test new and modified security roles
  
• Performs other duties as required
  

Requirements

• Advanced experience with software configuration and modern programming languages
  
• Ability to troubleshoot challenging problems across the platform & its HW/SW components
  
• Proven experience in Scrum and DevOps methodologies
  
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members
  
• Lead medium projects
  

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related experience
  
• Four or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience
