  • Determines what is necessary to correct an account if not matching remittances

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! This is a remote work position that requires residency in KY or IN


Under the direction of the PFS Supervisors and Managers for the Hospital and Medical Group, is responsible for duties related to the Centralized Billing Office, which could include, but are not limited to supporting Revenue Cycle by ensuring accurate and timely daily posting of all third-party and patient payments as well as adjustments to patient accounts. They are responsible for daily entry, reconciliation, electronic data interchange, and analysis of all activity between the bank lockboxes and the patient accounting system. This position requires detailed analysis and critical thinking to ensure accurate balances are reflected on accounts and determine what is necessary to correct an account if not matching remittances.


Qualifications:
