Job description

This is a remote position.

A leading FX brokerage is looking for an experienced Head of PSP & Banking to lead its payments and banking operations. You will own the full PSP and banking strategy, from sourcing and onboarding new providers to improving approval rates and keeping client deposits and withdrawals running smoothly across all markets. This is a fully remote, senior role with direct impact on revenue and client experience.

Requirements

  • Own the company's PSP and banking strategy
  • Source, negotiate and onboard new PSPs, acquirers and banks
  • Manage relationships with existing payment and banking partners
  • Optimise payment routing and cascading
  • Improve deposit approval rates and reduce costs
  • Manage chargebacks and card scheme compliance
  • Maintain backup providers to handle de-risking and closures
  • Oversee safeguarding and client money accounts
  • Monitor PSP performance and payment KPIs
  • Work with Compliance, Finance, Risk, Retention and Tech teams
  • Lead and develop the payments team

Requirements – Must Have

  • Proven experience at an FX/CFD brokerage (mandatory)
  • 5+ years in payments, PSP or banking roles
  • Strong network of PSPs, acquirers and banks
  • PSP sourcing, negotiation and onboarding
  • Card acquiring, APMs and local payment methods
  • Payment routing and cascading optimisation
  • High-risk merchant and chargeback management
  • AML/KYC, PSD2 and 3DS knowledge
  • CySEC/FCA regulatory experience
  • Safeguarding and client account management
  • Fee and contract negotiation
  • KPI and approval-rate analysis
  • Team leadership experience
  • Fluent English
