CookUnity is a chef-to-you marketplace connecting talented chefs with consumers, revolutionizing meal delivery. We bring small-batch restaurant-quality meals to our customers nationwide that are crafted by a diverse collective of all-star chefs. With over 100 inspired chefs from cities like Chicago, NYC, LA, Austin and more our weekly subscription offers a wide range of hand-crafted meals to cater to various palates and dietary preferences.
By delivering over 1 million meals per month, we're also empowering working chefs, tripling their income and supporting their growth. CookUnity believes in fueling stronger communities, partnering with Food Bank For New York City to combat food insecurity across all five boroughs.
The Acquisition Engineering team owns the new-visitor journey end-to-end — from the first landing page through sign-up, meal selection, and checkout. Our northstar is conversion rate: we run high-velocity experiments on high-traffic surfaces where small improvements translate directly into business growth. We recently rebuilt the acquisition funnel from the ground up and now operate a modern, experiment-ready platform.
As a Staff Engineer (front-end or full-stack) on the Acquisition team, you will be the technical leader of the surfaces where the business is won: you will drive architecture across the funnel and landing pages, raise the team's bar through mentorship and standards, and act as the engineering counterpart to Product and Data on experiment design and measurement quality. You will spend part of your time hands-on and part multiplying the team's output.
