ShopMy's Business Development Representatives are the front line of our growth engine - the first ShopMy voice a prospect ever hears. As part of our high-performing Brand Growth team, you'll hunt down and qualify prospective clients, representing us with an elite level of professionalism and commercial instinct. Your job: build the pipeline that sets our Account Executives up to close, bringing premium fashion, beauty, and wellness brands onto the platform.

This is a high-visibility seat with real ownership from day one - every opportunity you generate has a direct, measurable impact on ShopMy's growth trajectory.

• New Client Acquisition: Generate outbound qualified opportunities each month, hitting or exceeding your quota, while managing inbound pipeline. Prioritize and strategize your outreach across multiple channels to maximize impact
• Account Executive Support: Mindfully document, assess, and communicate highly detailed notes (pain points, budgets, infrastructure, timeline) on prospects using our CRM, to set AEs up for successful demos
• Creative Research & Targeting Strategy: Work with the Brand Growth team to identify accounts and do extensive territory planning for assigned leads, plus conduct prospect research within focused industry verticals
• Pipeline Management: Maintain excellent CRM hygiene in HubSpot, ensuring data integrity and accurate notes are accessible to the Sales team
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Identify and source prospective clients to attend ShopMy's domestic and international events, balancing these asks against your core pipeline priorities
• Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on ShopMy's product - not just what it does, but the why behind it - so you can speak credibly and confidently to every prospective client

• Metrics, goals, and the thrill of exceeding them - you're competitive, persistent, and motivated by results
• Driving outbound sales - you love the process of researching, prospecting, and crafting compelling outreach
• Staying organized and efficient in your follow-up and pipeline management
• Owning a dedicated 1:1 partnership with your AE, with real autonomy and mastery over that shared pipeline, while still contributing to the broader sales team's number

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years of outbound sales or lead generation experience in a B2B environment
• Confident, eloquent communicator - equally sharp writing outreach and speaking with C-level contacts
• Creative problem solver who turns "no response" into a new angle instead of a dead end
• Operates with urgency - moves fast, stays organized under pressure, and follows through until things are actually done
• Excited to build a sales career at a fast-paced, high-growth startup
• Team-first mentality - invested in the team's wins as much as your own
• Represents ShopMy well in every interaction, understanding that you're often the very first impression a brand gets of the company
• NYC-preferred, open to remote

Bonus Points:

• SaaS industry experience 
• Strong understanding of the creator and affiliate marketing spaces
• Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter

This position's base salary starts at $65,000 and has an uncapped commission component.

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
