About the Role:

We're hiring a Digital Learning Executive (DLE)in the Learning Departmentto help drive digital courseware growth and technology-required adoptions. In this role, you'll identify new opportunities, support customer retention, and expand existing accounts. You'll partner closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure successful onboarding and adoption. The DLE also collaborates with product and marketing teams to help shape Wiley's digital solutions.


Success in this role requires building strong relationships with 2 and 4-year institutions and demonstrating the value of our digital offerings. If you're passionate about education technology and strategic account growth, we'd love to hear from you.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption of Wiley digital solutions by helping instructors understand and realize the value of digital courseware.
  • Grow renewable revenue and platform usage by increasing the number of courses that incorporate digital solutions as part of grading.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations and demonstrations to faculty, departments, and decision-making committees, both in person and virtually.
  • Build, manage, and advance a strong sales pipeline while tracking opportunities and account activity in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Identify growth opportunities through strategic account planning, territory analysis, and "land and expand" initiatives. This will include 40-60% of local travel per week during selling season.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support for digital solutions, including LMS/LTI integrations and customer adoption success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with an interest in Higher Education.
  • Strong drive, curiosity, and motivation to build a successful career in educational technology and sales.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • Passion for helping faculty and students achieve better outcomes through digital learning solutions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area (west side preferred), with a valid G driver’s license and the resilience to thrive through challenges and setbacks.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in education.
  • Knowledge in Salesforce or a similar CRM.

The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles in the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, or Spain. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
