Position Summary
We are seeking a pharmacist to review and complete criteria-based prior authorization requests in accordance with established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong retail pharmacy experience, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Review and complete criteria for prior authorization requests according to established policies and procedures.
Evaluate medication requests and supporting information for coverage requirements.
Communicate with providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Document case information accurately and maintain appropriate records.
Apply clinical and pharmacy knowledge to support accurate and timely case resolution.
Follow all applicable privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience.
Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state where you currently reside.
Strong computer, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED is also required.

Preferred Experience
Prior authorization or PBM experience is preferred but not required.
If you have PBM experience, experience handling Prior Authorization cases is preferred over MTM-only experience.
Strong retail pharmacy experience.
Pharmacy Manager experience is preferred.
Staff Pharmacist experience of 2+ years with the same employer is preferred.
New graduates may be considered with relevant leadership, residency, fellowship, or pharmacy initiative experience.
