Industry Mentor - Analytics with AI | Part Time | Kannada

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Industry Mentor to coach and upskill learners in Data Analytics and AI. This role involves technical mentoring, project reviews, practical problem-solving, and interview preparation for learners building industry-ready analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts and guide learners effectively in Kannada.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct live mentoring sessions and technical office hours covering Data Analytics, AI, and industry best practices in Kannada.

• Guide learners through practical applications of Excel, SQL, Python/R, statistics, data analysis, and visualization.

• Review assignments, dashboards, notebooks, and projects and provide actionable technical feedback.

• Guide learners on data cleaning, data wrangling, EDA, statistical analysis, and insight generation.

• Help learners understand real-world data-driven problem-solving and business use cases.

• Conduct technical assessments, mock interviews, and project reviews to prepare learners for industry opportunities.

• Guide learners in building effective dashboards and communicating data-driven insights.

• Help learners understand industry practices, tools, workflows, and expectations for analytics roles.

• Collaborate with curriculum and product teams to improve course content, projects, and practical assignments.

• Track learner progress and maintain mentorship records.

• Identify learner challenges and work with relevant teams to resolve blockers.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

• Hands-on experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis.

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and data manipulation.

• Practical experience with Python or R for data analysis.

• Strong understanding of statistics, EDA, data wrangling, and hypothesis testing.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries.

• Practical experience working on real-world analytics projects.

• Prior experience in mentoring, teaching, training, or technical coaching.

• Strong spoken Kannada communication skills.

• Ability to explain complex analytics concepts in a simple, practical, and structured manner.

Preferred

• Experience with Machine Learning fundamentals and AI-driven analytics.

• Experience building and reviewing dashboards and data storytelling projects.

• Experience conducting technical interviews or assessments.

• Experience reviewing analytics resumes, projects, portfolios, or case studies.

• Experience working with large or complex datasets.

• Industry experience in building data-driven solutions for real-world business problems.

• Familiarity with current AI tools and their applications in analytics workflows.
