About the company

TimberHP logo

TimberHP

TimberHP is a privately held, Maine-based building products corporation founded in 2017 to develop and manufacture renewable, biodegradable, non toxic wood fiber insulation for the residential and light commercial construction market. Global climate change is an urgent threat. It must be addressed. And simply put, we are running out of time to do so. Right now, an astounding 44% percent of global carbon emissions come from energy consumed by residential and commercial buildings. It’s an unsustainable dynamic that won’t change unless we come up with new ways to make the built environment more carbon neutral. Insulating homes and buildings with GO Lab’s wood fiber batts, blown in insulation and exterior boards will create tighter building envelopes, thus reducing the need for heating and cooling.GO Lab’s wood fiber batts and exterior boards will cost the same as, or less than, other products on the market, but do so much more. It’s a marriage of environmental sustainability and cost competitiveness that comes at a critical time, as more stringent building codes increasingly demand that structures use less energy and leave less of a carbon footprint. Our team is hard at work, preparing for the launch of a new, cutting-edge manufacturing facility, inside a former paper mill in Madison, Maine. Once operational, this plant will turn daily shipments of wood chips from lumber yards around the state, into cost competitive, environmentally sustainable, transformative insulation products. Demand for our products will breathe new life into Maine’s forest products industry and create good paying jobs that will reinvigorate local economies.

Job description

Description

WHO WE ARE:

At TimberHP, we're not just manufacturing wood fiber insulation, we're introducing an entirely new category of building material to North America. Our mission is rooted in innovation, environmental responsibility, and creating a workplace where people thrive. We're growing fast, and we're looking for driven, curious sales professionals ready to grow with us.

We believe in people-first values, and it shows in a culture that celebrates teamwork, ambition, and rewarding the people who go out and make things happen.

The Opportunity:

TimberHP wood fiber insulation is new to North America, and demand is accelerating fast. As our Inside Sales & Business Development Representative, you'll be a driving force behind that growth, picking up the phone, sending the email, making the connection that turns a cold prospect into a qualified opportunity. This role rewards determination: the willingness to make one more call, follow up one more time, and keep pushing an opportunity forward until it moves.

You'll spend the majority of your time proactively prospecting and developing new business, working hand-in-hand with our Territory Sales Managers to build pipeline across the country.

 What You will be doing:

• Proactively identifying and engaging prospective customers within TimberHP's priority markets through phone, email, digital outreach, referrals, and virtual events

• Building targeted prospect lists and developing relationships with insulation contractors, builders, lumberyards, and building-material distributors

• Generating qualified meetings and opportunities for Territory Sales Managers, and re-engaging prospects who've gone quiet

• Owning inbound leads from first inquiry through qualification — determining needs, timing, and sales potential

• Maintaining disciplined, persistent follow-up until every opportunity advances, transfers, or closes

• Partnering remotely with field Territory Sales Managers to support market blitzes, product launches, and account campaigns

• Building and maintaining a measurable pipeline in TimberHP's CRM, with clean data and clear next steps

• Developing real product knowledge across TimberFill, TimberBatt, and TimberBoard so you can speak credibly to customers

Determination is the job!

This isn't a script-and-move-on role. Success here comes from persistence,  from being the person who follows up when others would let a lead go cold, who treats every "not right now" as a "not yet," and who keeps a pipeline moving through sheer consistency. If you take real satisfaction in outworking the competition and turning effort into results, you'll thrive here.

 Room to Grow!

This role is a genuine launchpad. Strong performers build the exact skills: prospecting, pipeline management, product expertise, and customer development, that set up a future move into a field Territory Sales Manager role or other growth opportunities within TimberHP. We're growing fast, and we'd rather grow our own than look outside.
