Job Description:

Marketing & Content VA

Our client is an established UK property business looking for a reliable and organised Marketing & Content VA to join their team. The role will involve supporting the day-to-day operations of the business and working closely with the wider property team. They are looking for someone who is professional, proactive and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the existing content planner – ensure everything planned is created, edited, approved, scheduled and posted on time.
  • Chase team members for outstanding videos, photos and content – without needing to be chased.
  • Edit short-form video content: sneak peeks, property walkthroughs, educational reels, success stories and team content.
  • Add captions, subtitles, hooks, covers, branding and CTAs.
  • Schedule/publish across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn as appropriate.
  • Check scheduled content has published correctly.
  • Update the daily content count for each team member.
  • Maintain the team content leaderboard.
  • Manage the new property onboarding and marketing checklist.
  • Check EPC status and flag anything missing or expired.
  • Collate/check Material Information and flag missing information.
  • Draft portal descriptions, Rightmove bullet points and social copy.
  • Prepare/upload property marketing assets and check live listings for accuracy.
  • Update the planner/status of every property and content task.
  • Flag anything requiring approval or urgent action.

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Produce and send the weekly newsletter.
  • Review the content planner for the following 1–2 weeks and identify gaps/missing assets.
  • Make sure the team is ahead with filming rather than chasing content on the day it is due.
  • Produce the weekly content leaderboard and identify outstanding targets.
  • Review available properties to ensure they are receiving regular social exposure.
  • Identify properties requiring another push, fresh content, video or price-change promotion.
  • Repurpose strong-performing/evergreen content.
  • Monitor and organise Google reviews/testimonials for future marketing.
  • Provide a short weekly marketing summary: completed / outstanding / next week / action required.

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly social media performance reports.
  • Report on reach, views, engagement, followers, website clicks and enquiries where trackable.
  • Identify best-performing properties, videos, hooks and content topics.
  • Compare performance month-on-month.
  • Recommend what content we should do more/less of based on the data.
  • Report on newsletter performance, including opens, clicks, database growth, unsubscribes and best-performing content.
  • Creation of the life magazine for the relevant publication.
  • Review the content planner to ensure a good balance of property, educational, market update, team/personality, success-story and lead-generation content.
  • Maintain an organised bank of reusable/evergreen content.

Ad Hoc

  • Design leaflets and door-knocking material.
  • Just Listed / Sold / Price Reduction campaigns.
  • Event marketing and graphics.
  • Seller/buyer/landlord guides.
  • Social graphics and story templates.
  • Email campaigns.

  • QR codes.
  • Testimonial/review graphics.
  • Paid social campaign creative.
  • Database campaigns.
  • Assist with larger marketing campaigns and new initiatives
