Solutions Architect Consultant (Networking/Data Center)

Location: Remote (Occasional Travel)

Compensation: Based on experience; up to $160K Base Salary + 15% Quarterly Bonus + Full Benefits Package

Insight is seeking a senior-level networking and network security expert to help shape solution strategy, go-to-market initiatives, and partner engagement across enterprise networking and data center technologies. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role focused on market trends, solution development, sales enablement, and executive-level consulting rather than hands-on implementation.

What You'll Do

• Drive networking and network security strategy based on market trends, customer needs, partner roadmaps, and industry research.
• Develop solutions and go-to-market initiatives across technologies including enterprise networking, SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, network security, data center networking, observability, and AI-ready infrastructure.
• Create sales enablement materials, solution documentation, presentations, and training content.
• Partner closely with sales, architects, delivery teams, marketing, and technology partners to build and promote differentiated solutions.
• Support strategic customer opportunities, executive discussions, RFPs, and solution positioning.
• Build strong relationships with key networking and security partners such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance research, content development, and solution strategy.
• Monitor market trends, field adoption, and partner activity to continuously refine solution offerings.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in networking, network security, infrastructure architecture, consulting, technical sales, solution strategy, portfolio management, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies including wireless, switching, routing, SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, firewalls, cloud connectivity, and data center networking.
• Experience translating market and customer insights into solution strategy and go-to-market plans.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across sales, engineering, delivery, leadership, and partner teams.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in creating technical and sales-focused content and enablement materials.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and solution development.

Preferred Experience

• Background as a Principal Architect, Solution Architect, Consulting Architect, Product/Portfolio Manager, or Technology Strategist.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar providers.
• Knowledge of data center networking, observability, AIOps, AI-ready infrastructure, and modernization initiatives.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE, Fortinet, or equivalent.
